Fiksu Names Goldman as CFO [Professional Services Close - Up]

(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Fiksu reported that it has hired Ken Goldman to be the company's first Chief Financial Officer.

According to a release from the company, Goldman joins Fiksu from Black Duck Software, where he was named CFO of the Year by the Boston Business Journal in 2009.

Fiksu said that as CFO, Goldman will join the executive management team and lead Fiksu's financial operations, focusing on the continuing creation, enhancement and realization of shareholder value in the company.

"We're thrilled to expand the strength of our executive team by bringing Ken on board," said Fiksu CEO Micah Adler. "His proven track record of driving growth for companies in rapidly changing industries is impressive. We're looking forward to leveraging his experience and expertise to help Fiksu evolve to the next level and realize its full potential." Goldman brings more than 30 years of financial and operational experience to Fiksu, along with a track record of successfully leading companies through both IPOs and acquisitions.

As SVP and CFO at Salary.com from 2006 through 2008, he built the systems and infrastructure to take the company public, leading a fast track IPO that was 8x subscribed and sold more shares than planned, as a result of significant investor demand.

Earlier in his career, Goldman held executive positions as Chief Financial Officer at Lodestar, Student Advantage, MediaMap, Shoplink.com, Liberty International Holdings, and Goldweitz & Company.

Fiksu is a provider of mobile app marketing products that help app and game marketers reach their user acquisition goals.
