United States : TCL COMMUNICATION ships more than 15 mln smartphones in H1 [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The maker of Alcatel brand phones, TCL Communication Technology has said that it delivered 15.04 million smartphones in the initial six months of the year, a 220 percent rise on the year-earlier period. Altogether, the firm shipped 29.94 million phones in the first half, up 45 percent as compared to earlier year. Sales out of its home market of Chine were increased 49 percent year-on-year to 27.14 million, and the firm delivered 2.80 million units in China.
