New range of Hala Smart Cards available [Gulf Times (Qatar)]

(Gulf Times (Qatar) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Ooredoo has launched a new range of Hala Smart Cards, offering customers more options to purchase low-cost call minutes and data.

Available in denominations of QR5, QR15 and QR35, the bundles are the lowest-ever Hala Smart packs introduced in Qatar and include local minutes, SMS, and mobile Internet data.

The new scratch cards, which are valid for 30 days, have been introduced to the Hala segment after strong customer demand for more low-cost options.

The Hala Smart Cards are for local use only and can be used in addition to any other subscription currently in use.

The QR5 Hala Smart Card includes 15 local minutes/SMS and 30MB of data, the QR15 card will activate 50 local minutes/SMS and 100MB of data, while the QR35 card will activate 120 local minutes/SMS and 250MB of mobile Internet data.

Hala Smart, Ooredoo's prepaid mobile service, has become one of the most popular services for the company.

By making a host of low-cost and high-end denominations available, Ooredoo aims to empower customers to customise plans by picking the options best suited to their needs.

To use the smart cards, customers need to scratch off the secret panel to reveal the activation code, and follow the instructions on the back of the card to redeem call minutes and data.
