New audit seniors at Cardiff accountants [Western Mail (Wales)](Western Mail (Wales) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) CARDIFF?HEADQUARTERED independent accountancy practice Watts Gregory LLP has recruited two senior members of staOE in the wake of a series of contract wins. Chris Morgan and Rhodri Davies have been appointed audit seniors at the 'rm of chartered accountants, business advisers and tax consultants. Mr Morgan, a former Pencoed Comprehensive pupil who now lives in Brackla, Bridgend, worked in another accountancy practice after leaving school. He started his AAT accountancy training in 2003 and quali'ed two years later after attending Bridgend College on day release. Mr Morgan gained his Association of Chartered Certi'ed Accountants (ACCA) quali'cation in 2011 after attending Newport University on a day release scheme. A keen rugby and football player, he played for Bridgend Sports until last year, retiring because of injuries. He studied at Swansea University and graduated in 2002, where he obtained both a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree. He quali'ed as a member of the Association of Chartered Certi'ed Accountants (ACCA) in 2007, having also studied on day release at Newport University. Mr Davies, who plays rugby for Croesyceiliog RFC, is also a keen skier. Lindsay Hogg, managing partner at Watts Gregory which has 35 employees at its CardiOE Gate Business Park base, said: "We're delighted to welcome Chris and Rhodri to Watts Gregory as audit seniors.
