Omantel's Makasib Loyalty Programme sees success [Week, The (Oman)]

(Week, The (Oman) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Omantel's Makasib Loyalty Programme has been a success with over 500,000 new lines since its launch last November, a press release said. With Makasib, customers have the opportunity to benefit from a wide range of rewards through exchange poi­nts on usage of Omantel mobile, fixed line or Internet services.

Commenting on the success of the programme, Usama Ahmed al Rawas, loyalty and communi­ cations manager at Omantel Consumer Unit, said, "Since its launch, Makasib Programme has earned cus­tomers' trust due to the real value and the different experi­ence provided to them. The programme contributed to enhancing our customers' expe­rience and we are happy to see the large number of lines who jointed Makasib over this short period." Makasib comes in line with the company's strategy to offer its customers unmatched cus­ tomer experience. To this end, Omantel launched a promotion offer in May for World Cup 2014. Two subscribers ­ Ali bin Amer al Mashiakhi and Khalid Salim ­ won free trips to Brazil to watch a game live in a stadium. The pro­ motion includes the cost of travel tickets, game ticket and stay for four days.
