Q1 mobile traffic up 8.6% y/y, fixed-line down 14.4% y/y [IntelliNews - Weekly Reports]


(IntelliNews - Weekly Reports Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The mobile phone talktime in Croatia rose 8.6% y/y in the first quarter of 2014, while the fixed-line traffic decreased 14.4% y/y, the statistics office said on June 16.



The minutes spent in the mobile network amounted to 2.04 billion in the Jan-March period, while the minutes spent in the fixed-line network amounted to 746 million, the office said in a statement. The total number of SMS messages sent over the period fell 2.4% y/y to 818 million, while the number of MMS messages decreased by 11.3% y/y to 4.8 billion.

Broadband internet data traffic in the review period climbed 45.6% y/y to 110 million GB.
