IFF Publishes Sustainability Report with 2013 Performance HighlightsNEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. The report details the Company's continuing commitment to the Triple Bottom Line, with its strategic initiatives that address corporate, social and environmental responsibility, throughout the organization for the calendar year 2013. IFF has invested in new facilities in Asia and the Middle East over the past few years. In keeping with the Company's commitment to minimize its impact on the environment, buildings and manufacturing processes have been designed and constructed based on the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles with an emphasis on energy efficiency, low water consumption, minimal waste, use of building materials with high recycled content and the installation of energy metering and trending systems to measure performance and consumption. The report was prepared using the G3.1 guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the global standard for such reporting, and has obtained an Application Level Check of B+.
