BRIEF: Manchester, Hartland and Freeborn lose landline phone service [Albert Lea Tribune, Minn. :: ](Albert Lea Tribune (MN) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) May 16--Three communities in Freeborn County are without access to landline phone services -- including 911 services -- after a fiber cable was reportedly severed outside of Freeborn. The cut is not affecting cell phone services. The Freeborn County Sheriff's Office stated it received a call at 3:20 p.m. from Manchester-Hartland Telephone Co. about the situation.
