(TOLOnews (Afghanistan) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Afghan Minister of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) Amirzai Sangeen said that the satellite will bring major change in communication and in broadcasting. According to Sangeen, Afghanistan will pay $4 million annually to EutelSat, but? will have a $15 million income per annuum.

Satellite will also support citizens across the country to get access to communication and internet services with lower prices.

The contract singed for this purpose between Afghanistan and EutelSat has also followed major criticisms.


Some critics claim that the satellite is disabling and will not last long.
