EMC Assigned Patent(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) By Targeted News Service ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 18 -- EMC, Hopkinton, Mass., has been assigned a patent (8,700,578) developed by three co-inventors for a system and method "for determining physical storage space of a deduplicated storage system." The co-inventors are Srikant Varadan, San Jose, Calif., Dheer Moghe, Belmont, Calif., and Sazzala Reddy, Los Altos, Calif. The patent application was filed on Sept. 27, 2012 (13/629,573).
