Timothy Bates Joins HomeCare Connect as Vice President of Operations


ORLANDO, Fla. --(Business Wire)--

HomeCare Connect, a national workers' compensation company focused exclusively on managing the quality and cost of home health services and durable medical equipment and supplies, has named Timothy Bates Vice President of Operations. In the newly created position, Bates will oversee HomeCare Connect's durable medical equipment, clinical call center and home modification operations.

For the past 15 years, Bates owned and operated Premier Home Healthcare, Inc., a medical equipment company and was involved in educating people on theimportance of safety and accessibility within the home. He has also dedicated considerable time to advocacy, meeting with legislators in Tallahassee, Fla. and Washington, DC to help improve services for the elderly. He serves on the board of the Florida Alliance of Home Care Service and is a committee member for the National Aging in Place Council and is a Certified Aging in Place specialist.

Bates earned a bachelor's degree in communications and business management from the University of Alabama and worked in its athletic department while studying there.
