Answer: This is the upgrade to Galaxy Camera, the first Android- powered 16MP camera with WiFi and 4G LTE connectivity. Question: What can it do? Answer: The Galaxy Camera 2, just like its predecessor, enables users to snap photos, edit and instantly upload photos to social media sites, email and the Web, just like a smartphone without having to connect to a computer or any other devices.

The Galaxy Camera 2 has an upgraded 1.6GHz Quad Core processor from the previous 1.4GHz and the Android Jelly Bean version 4.3 platform taking over from the Android 4.1. For faster speed, RAM has been increased from 1GB to 2GB. From 4G internal storage, users now have 8GB as well as supplemented with the pre-loaded Dropbox app, which provides 50GB of free cloud storage for up to two years. It also supports microSD up to 64GB.

Resolution, optical zoom and LCD screen size remain the same with a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 21x optical zoom and a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear Touch LCD screen.

Question: What are some of its outstanding features? Answer: The Tag & Go feature makes it easy to connect the camera to NFC-enabled smartphones and devices. Just by tapping the smartphone and camera, users can pair the devices and transfer images via several features. With Photo Beam, for instance, the picture being viewed on the camera is automatically sent to the paired smartphone. Mobile Link, on the other hand, lets users select images they wish to transfer to their smartphone. There is also the option of enabling users to control the camera via their smartphone with the use of the Remote Viewfinder feature. For those who like taking selfies, the new Smart Mode Selfie Alarm helps take five consecutive images.
