Glomac to buy Precious Quest for RM22.77m [New Straits Time (Malaysia)](New Straits Time (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KUALA LUMPUR: Glomac Bhd has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire the entire issued and paid-up capital of Precious Quest Sdn Bhd for RM22.77 million. Precious Quest is a property development company, which has a right to develop a piece of leasehold land in Kulaijaya, Johor, measuring about 70.51ha. XOX Media in smartphone app venture KUALA LUMPUR: XOX Bhd's unit, XOX Media Sdn Bhd, has entered into a joint venture with Peltola Invest AB and e-horizon Pte Ltd to develop and market a smartphone application, named "Voopee", to the global market. The application allows users to make Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol calls and messaging. XOX Media will invest US$1 million (RM3.3 million) for a 45 per cent stake in the joint-venture company, Junyverse AB, which is registered in Sweden.
