XOX Media in smartphone app venture [New Straits Time (Malaysia)](New Straits Time (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KUALA LUMPUR: XOX Bhd?s unit, XOX Media Sdn Bhd, has entered into a joint venture with Peltola Invest AB and e-horizon Pte Ltd to develop and market a smartphone application, named ?Voopee?, to the global market. The application allows users to make Voice-Over- Internet-Protocol calls and messaging. XOX Media will invest US$1 million (RM3.3 million) for a 45 per cent stake in he joint-venture company, Junyverse AB, which is registered in Sweden.
