MapR Technologies Expands Asia Pacific Presence, Opens New Office in Australia

MapR Technologies, Inc., the top-ranked distribution for Apache Hadoop, today announced the expansion of its Asia Pacific presence with the opening of an Australian office in Melbourne.

Following the recent appointment of Justin Bock as Australia and New Zealand country manager, MapR is expanding its capabilities to support the growing demand by Australian companies to utilize big data as a competitive weapon.

MapR has significantly expanded its footprint in the region during the last six months, establishing its Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore and recently opening offices in Japan and Korea.
