ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists Debuts Luxurious New Product Line Created to Increase Patient Satisfaction

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. --(Business Wire)--

ImageFIRSTTM Healthcare Laundry Specialists has introduced an innovative new product line specifically designed to increase patients' satisfaction at any medical practice, facility or health system. The soft microfiber luxuriousness of the Comfort CareSM line is a welcome innovation in a healthcare industry still known for making patients tolerate thin, uncomfortable and ill-fitting patient gowns.

"We know that going to the doctor or hospital can be a stressful experience for some people, and waiting in a cold, thin gown only adds to their discomfort," said Jeff Berstein, CEO of ImageFIRST. "We created a soft and warm product line that makes patients feel both comfortable and comforted, and enables medical facilities and practitioners to give their patients a better overall care experience."

ImageFIRSTTM has thrived since it's founding in 1967 to become the nation's leading healthcare linen and laundry service to outpatient medical facilities, due to a singular focus on putting the customer first. With the healthcare industry's new reimbursement formulas often linking provider compensation to patient satisfaction, ImageFIRST created the Comfort Care product line to enhance patient comfort, and it has already ben shown to improve patient perception ratings at facilities that have introduced Comfort Care products.

The Comfort Care product line currently consists of four patient products:

  • Plush Scoop-Neck Gown
  • Reversible V-Neck Plush Gown
  • Short-Length Mammography Gown
  • Plush Robe

Each product comes in a unique color, and is sized to fit most people; the Reversible V-Neck Gown is cut larger to accommodate a wider range of patients. All the products in the Comfort Care line are made from a polyester/nylon microfiber blend that is attractive and warm, yet cost effective because of its durability for ongoing use and laundering.

Like all other ImageFIRST patient gowns and robes, the Comfort Care products come wrapped in individually-sealed plastic bags for infection prevention, and ImageFIRST assures its clients that all Comfort Care products undergo ImageFIRST's Triple Bioshield Protection process, a comprehensive 3-step infection prevention laundering procedure.

"When we introduce this line to a customer, the question we get asked first is not, 'How much does it cost?' but 'Can I take one home with me?'" says Bill Roberts, Vice President of Sales. "When you consider the poor reputation of hospital gowns, that is a revolutionary question."
