The Digital and Tech Awards event was held on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the prestigious Yale Club in New York City. The Yale Club is considered in the elite one percent of all private clubs in the world. The CableFAX Tech Awards are open to all Tech vendors, cable networks and MSOs in North America.

"First I want to thank Mark Hoffer, SubscriberWise chief systems engineer for his critical contributions over the past decade. Mark's genius evolving SubscriberWise's software cannot be overstated," said David Howe, founder and president of SubscriberWise. "I once again acknowledge our technology partners around this country including FICO, TransUnion, American Support, CHR Solutions, CommSoft, GLDS, RR Enterprises, and others. Each is an integral part of the success of this organization. Finally I salute all of the winners and finalists who are indeed raising the bar with their innovative technology and personal contributions to our industry."

"As an 18 year employee of MCTV, I also proudly acknowledge Robert Gessner who was named a 2014 Digital Hot List Honoree during the event. Bob is the president of MCTV (www.mctvohiocom) and a board member of SubscriberWise. Bob is the current vice chair of the American Cable Association and the former chair of the National Cable Television Cooperative. Bob's father, Richard Gessner, founded MCTV nearly a half century ago. In 2009, Mr. Gessner was named one of America's 'Cable Television Pioneers' (http://www.americancable.org/node/1108). MCTV has been honored a 'Top Ops' and is a leader in innovation and technology among independent operators."

"SubscriberWise evolved at MCTV with the help of many talented cable professionals over the course of many years," explained Howe. "MCTV has an ownership interest in SubscriberWise but the operator's contributions to the nationwide launch and success of SubscriberWise is far greater than its financial stake. MCTV provides SubscriberWise with office space, a training center, cutting-edge network operations, engineers, and access to cable data and statistics among others. Simply stated, SubscriberWise would not exist without the initial and continued involvement of the Gessner family and MCTV," emphasized Howe.

"Nearly 10 years after its founding, SubscriberWise is today contributing tens of millions of dollars annually to the communications industry through its precision analytics, decision management and rules technology, fraud and identity theft prevention, optimization and marketing technology, Red Flag compliance, churn reduction, increased cash-flow, and operational efficiencies. Combined with effective training, best practices, and highly competent customer service representatives who interact with the software each and everyday, the end result of the technology is a staggering 7500 percent ROI for operators.

SubscriberWise members comprise virtually every leading independent operator in America including: Antietam Cable; BendBroadband; Cable ONE; Comporium; Eagle Communications; GVTC; ImOn Communications; Media3; NewWave Communications; Ritter Communications; Shentel (News - Alert); TruVista; USA Communications; Vyve Broadband; and too many others to list here. I profoundly thank our members for their myriad suggestions and enhancements that continually improve SubscriberWise technology for the benefit of all. In the near-decade of SubscriberWise's existence, not a single member operator has ever canceled its membership; SubscriberWise requires no contracts or commitments from its members.

I graciously thank CableFAX for this award," concluded Howe. "This was a very special event for me personally. It was both a privilege and an honor to have gathered with many of the top leaders and thinkers in the communications industry."
