GERMAN MOVE ; COMPANIES TODAY [Newcastle Journal (England)](Newcastle Journal (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Vodafone is to begin integrating its German operation with Kabel Deutschland from April 1 after completing its Pounds 9.1m takeover of the company in October. The FTSE 100-listed mobile phone giant said the combination meant that it would have more than 32 million mobile, approximately five million broadband and 7.6 million direct TV customers in Germany, Europe's largest economy.
