Relay2, a developer and manufacturer of high-performance cloud controller-based wireless LAN solutions, will be streamlining the deployment and management of wireless LANs by providing true cloud controller-based solutions.

The new products to be launched by the company includes a feature-rich software as a service (SaaS (News - Alert)) cloud controller that delivers monitoring, central management, and administrative control capabilities via an intuitive user interface. Wireless network deployment will become simpler for small businesses, enterprises and distributed networks.

To enable the required high-speed connectivity, a high-density cloud-managed access point will be available which is equipped to support up to 250 client devices and up to 16 individual WLANs. Also the access points leverage the plug-and-play provisioning capability to reduce deployment times and to make the WLAN scalable in future.

The cloud-based control system implemented by Relay2 provides optimum management and control of all deployed access points from a central location using a cloud-based controller and a Web browser. This cost effective solution will benefit VARs, system integrators and resellers, said officials.

The high-performance, high-density enterprise wireless access points support high-bandwidth applications and BYOD initiatives. The zero-touch provisioning of access points and centralized cloud-based control enable fast deployment of highly-scalable, high-density WLANs cost effectively.

 "Our solution significantly lowers the total cost of ownership and operations for Wi-Fi deployments in distributed networks, fast-growing enterprise and SMB organizations that do not have IT staff in-house, and service providers who want to provide Wi-Fi-based mobile application services," concluded Chen.

By simply adding a Relay2 access point where needed, the network can be extended. The cloud-based controller can push firmware updates to all deployed access points. All these features also reduce the dependence on dedicated IT staff.
