Fiat estimates sales of 5 mln vehicles in 2016, CEO says [ANSA](ANSA Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (ANSA) - Turin, March 13 - Carmaker Fiat estimates its new combined brand could sell 5 million vehicles in 2016, Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne said Thursday. Trading profit in the first quarter of the year should be higher than in the same period one year earlier, Marchionne added following a shareholders meeting of Swiss-based SGB, a multinational services and inspection corporation. "Losses in Europe in 2014 will be lower than those of last year, notwithstanding the investments that were carried out," Marchionne said, according to Bloomberg news.
