National Brands Invest Resources in Engineering Talent Located in Emerging Tech Hubs (Raleigh, NC and Pune, India) to Reimagine Digital Presence

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) March 12, 2014 Webonise Lab, a global, web and mobile development company, announced the addition of the National Federation of State High School Associations to its growing list of clients today at the 2014 South By Southwest technology conference in Austin, TX. Webonise works with a wide range of companies, from large enterprises to startups, in a variety of diverse fields such as aerospace, transportation and philanthropy, but the team has a little extra expertise when it comes to sports. Currently, the company has working relationships with organizations including USA Football, the official youth development partner of the NFL, MLB.com Digital Academy and the Daily Racing Forum.

"While we have clients across many industries, the opportunity to work with and alongside some of the leading brands in sports has provided Webonise with the chance to approach its clients' technology needs from a new and exciting perspective," said Webonise co-founder Rob Katz. “The work we do with established organizations, like the NFHS, gives us a platform to show off our forward thinking and responsive mentality in what has been a historically, traditional marketplace.” Webonise has already begun work on back-end development to improve the web experience for the thousands of coaches, officials, administrators and others who use the NFHS platform every day. NFHS provides program initiatives to encourage education-based participation experiences for more than 11 million students involved in athletic and activity programs in more than 19,000 high schools. The completion date for the project is set for the summer of 2014.

“We are pleased to be working with Webonise on this important project of improving and expanding our Web site,” said Bob Gardner, NFHS executive director. “The people at Webonise have a great background in Web development, and we look forward to the rollout of our new site this summer.” Webonise offices are strategically placed in Raleigh, NC and Pune, India. In 2014, both locations were named on a prestigious list of eight global cities emerging as giant, tech hubs in terms of talent and employment. The on-shore/off-shore model, practiced by Webonise, allows for around the clock development cycles, a wider talent pool, in terms of design and development, and lower costs to the client.
