Emulex 10GbE Converged Network Adapters Deliver High Performance Virtualization and Scalability for Dell PowerEdge PlatformsCOSTA MESA, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX), a leader in network connectivity, monitoring and management, today announced it is delivering high performance 10Gb Ethernet (10GbE) connectivity for Dell (News - Alert) PowerEdge rack, blade, and tower platforms, with the new OneConnect® OCe14000 family of 10GbE Converged Network Adapters (CNAs), designed for virtualized, enterprise and cloud data centers. The OCe14000 family of 10GbE CNAs provides stateless TCP hardware offloads, more scalable virtualization with Single-Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV), FCoE and iSCSI hardware offloads for better CPU utilization, optimized bandwidth allocation using Dell switch independent network partitioning (NPAR) and accelerated cloud networking using Emulex Overlay Network (OVN) offload technology.
