SOASTA Continues European Expansion

BARCELONA, Spain & LONDON --(Business Wire)--

Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) - SOASTA, the leader in cloud and mobile testing, is continuing its growth and expansion into the EMEA region, today announcing new locations of its Global Test Cloud platform in Russia, Belgium, and Germany amid strong customer adoption in those areas. Tim Bisley has been appointed VP and managing director of EMEA, effective immediately. Based out of the company's new offices in Central London, Bisley will oversee the continued growth and expansion of SOASTA (News - Alert) in the EMEA region.

Bisley's appointment follows a strong year for SOASTA that saw new significant customer wins, particularly in retail and media. It also reflects the huge demand that exists in Europe, particularly in Germany, Austria, the Benelux and Nordic regions, for cloud-based testing technology. The expansion of the company's Global Test Cloud, with new locations in Belgium, Russia and Germany, enables SOASTA customers to realistically simulate mobile and web traffic from over 60 locations worldwide.

"SOASTA has established itself as the leader in web and mobile testing, with a number of new customers across Europe, including leading retail, media and telecommunications companies," said Tom Lounibos (News - Alert), SOASTA CEO. "Organisations worldwide ae accelerating their development cycles to meet the demands of mobile and web consumers."

"In this environment there is a requirement for a more dynamic and flexible platform that can accommodate real-world testing at Internet scale, across both web and mobile environments. We are excited to have Tim join SOASTA at a time when we are seeing a sea change in the testing market and a need by organisations of all sizes to embrace the cloud, and deliver quality user experiences every time."

"Testing and performance management is increasingly being seen for what it ultimately is - a core competency that underpins how customers interact with an organisations brand," said Tim Bisley, VP and managing director, EMEA. "SOASTA intrinsically understand this and has developed a platform that reflects this new paradigm. The company's success in Europe over the past year and the list of new customers has created both momentum and a groundswell upon which we anticipate further growth. I am excited at the challenges that lay ahead and the opportunity to revolutionise the world of testing."

Bisley brings a track record in building high-performing, pan-European teams and driving the growth strategies of European operations at companies such as CA (News - Alert), Nimsoft and Mercury Interactive. He joins SOASTA from Kronos. His breadth of experience in driving new and disruptive technologies to market and his focus on delivering tangible customer service makes him an obvious choice for steering the EMEA operation.
