BRIEF: Concord man pleads guilty to possessing child porn [Contra Costa Times :: ](Contra Costa Times (Walnut Creek, CA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Feb. 07--CONCORD -- A Concord man pleaded guilty in federal court Friday to possessing child pornography, officials said. Scott Alan Seidlitz, 29, admitted that starting in 2010, he copied child pornography images from another person's email account using his laptop and stored the images on his external hard drive, U.S. Attorney Melinda Haag said in a news release. Seidlitz admitted to having more than 4,000 images of child pornography, including images depicting bondage and bestiality. Seidlitz is scheduled to be sentenced on April 29 in Oakland. The maximum penalty for possession of child pornography is a 10-year prison term, a fine of $250,000 and a minimum of 5 years of supervised release.
