MEGA Announces EUROCONTROL to Expand Use of its EA Software to Describe SESAR Program Architecture

EUROCONTROL, the European organization for the safety of air navigation, is expanding the use of MEGA's enterprise architecture (EA) software solutions to manage the architecture repository of SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research).

SESAR is the name of the program aiming to supply powerful systems for air traffic management in Europe, and to modernize current systems. EUROCONTROL is a co-founding member of this program and aims to harmonize and unify aviation management in Europe by promoting a unique system for civil and military users, with maximum conditions of safety, while minimizing costs and environmental impacts.

The MEGA software solution is used to define the system architecture of the new European Air Traffic Management (ATM) information systems, processes, resources and exchanges between them. The NATO Architecture Framework (NAF) is embedded in the MEGA solution, allowing the description of different views.
