New Leadership Grows Axium with Increase in A/E Enterprise-Scale Clients, New Hires and Product Enhancements

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Portland, OR (PRWEB) February 03, 2014 Axium, a leading developer of integrated accounting and project management software for A/E firms, today announced key growth milestones since company ownership changed hands one year ago. Following a significant new product release of its marquee Ajera™ software last fall, the company expanded the leadership team and hired 33 additional new staff in product support, consulting services, and research and development. The company also added over 300 new clients, with enterprise A/E firms representing the fastest growing segment within the Axium client base.

New Leadership: Enterprise Sales and Marketing Axium recently hired Darryl Pettinelli as Director of Enterprise sales to further drive expansion into large A/E firms. Based in Boston, Pettinelli brings 25 years of experience in the A/E market gained while working for Clearview and Deltek. His deep understanding of how A/E firms operate and the challenges that impact their business success make him a critical addition to Axium as the company continues to invest in building relationships with enterprise-level architectural and engineering organizations across the U.S.

Axium also hired a new Vice President of Marketing late last year. Lisa Hannah joined the company in the executive role to lead both marketing and product marketing and help deepen the company position nationally as a leading project management and accounting solution for the A/E industry. Hannah most recently held senior marketing positions at Adaptu and Portland-based start-up Janrain following successful turns at Auctionpay (now Greater Giving), Tektronix and NCD.

More Ajera Clients and Users In the fall of 2013, Axium introduced Ajera 8, a significant platform evolution that included enhancements such as improved dashboard capabilities, customization by role, and more support for mobile platforms. As a result, the client base has grown steadily to over two thousand companies. A hosted option is also now available for clients to alleviate IT management and expense issues that are not core to the A/E operation.

“Taking the helm from the previous leadership came with a strong legacy of success that we planned only to build on and improve,” said Chris Heim, Axium CEO. “Not only did we keep the momentum of the organization and product on track, we are now on a trajectory to take it to the next level for our existing and loyal clients, as well as bring the Axium solution to larger A/E firms.” About Axium Axium provides Ajera, an integrated project management and accounting software solution designed specifically for the needs of the architecture and engineering market. More than 2,000 A/E firms across North America rely on Axium Ajera. The company operates all customer support and research and development from its headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Additional locations for sales and consulting services are located in Indianapolis, Boston and New York. Axium has been voted to Oregon Magazine's "Top 100 Companies to Work For" each of the last six years. The company can be found online at http://www.axium.com.
