World Wide Technology Ranks 71st on Forbes List of America's Largest Private Companies

World Wide Technology (News - Alert), Inc. (WWT), a market-leading systems integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions, today announced that it ranked 71st on Forbes annual list of America's Largest Private Companies. For the third consecutive year, WWT has continued its forward momentum among the 224 ranked businesses on the prestigious list, moving up 22 notches from 93rd in 2012. The company ranked 140th on the Forbes list in 2011.

Forbes annual list of America's Largest Private Companies features only private American businesses with revenue greater than $2 billion at the end of their most recent fiscal year. WWT captured the No. 71 spot on this year's list with sales of $5.04 billion largely due to the company's ability to help its glbal customer base evaluate, architect and implement advanced technologies such as data center, virtualization, cloud, mobility, security and collaboration. Other leading firms among the top 100 include Dell, PricewaterhouseCoopers (News - Alert), Ernst & Young, Enterprise, U.S. Foods, Aramark and Hilton Worldwide.

Companies included on the Forbes 2013 list have combined revenues of $1.61 trillion, up 8 percent from last year.
