AICPA Conference to Detail Top Financial Planning Challenges, Best Strategies for 2014

(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NEW YORK, Jan. 7 -- The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants issued the following news release: Heading into 2014, complexity is the only certainty in financial planning. Change at the Federal Reserve brings the potential for higher interest rates. Mid-term elections could bring new focus to fiscal issues in Washington. The multidimensional tax code requires fresh attention to asset location and investment planning. Even estate planning is more nuanced, with changes in tax laws and the growth of digital assets.

To help financial planners navigate the landscape, the American Institute of CPAs will host its Advanced Personal Financial Planning Conference in Las Vegas from Jan. 20-22, 2014. Advisors are increasingly turning to the conference for detailed advice and strategies to benefit their clients. Attendance has doubled since 2009 and is expected to eclipse 1,100 this year.

Reporters are invited to cover the event and more than 50 sessions on topics including the new world of health insurance in 2014, potential crises of the future, retirement income strategies, the effect of emotions and biases on investment decisions and technology security in practice.
