Globecomm selects Amino for managed communications solution deploymentOct 25, 2013 (MarketLine via COMTEX) -- Globecomm Systems Inc., a provider of satellite-based managed network solutions, has selected IP set-top boxes from Amino Communications, a provider of entertainment systems and solutions, as part of deployment of a managed communications solution to over 1,100 locations across the US for a national retailer. Amino's HD IP set-top boxes will help deliver a range of digital signage, employee training and corporate communications as part of Globecomm's TempoSM Enterprise Media Platform - an end to end solution that integrates high quality hardware, software and delivery solutions with network monitoring and life cycle support. The deployment utilises the single integrated solution to deliver a diverse range of media applications, ranging from in-store digital signage to interactive distance learning and mobile iOS apps, delivered across a hybrid of satellite and terrestrial networks.
