As a compatible home area network device, select SCE customers will be able to connect their ecobee thermostats to their Smart Meter and make informed decisions about energy usage in their homes. As part of SCE's limited launch of residential demand-response-capable thermostats, the ecobee Smart Si allows SCE to offer two-way communication to its customers and provides automated energy conservation to help customers save on their energy bills.
