PrismTech Releases OpenSplice Mobile


Jul 12, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- PrismTech, a provider of middleware, announced the general availability release of OpenSplice Mobile v1.1, a Java implementation of the data distribution service specification optimized for Android and embedded JVMs.



In a release, the Company noted that OpenSplice Mobile brings seamless and efficient peer-to-peer communication to a class of Java enabled devices and is an enabler for the Industrial Internet and the Internet of Things.

"OpenSplice Mobile is the first product on the market to deliver high-performance peer-to-peer communication for Android and embedded Java VMs," said Angelo Corsaro, OpenSplice CTO, PrismTech. "It is easy to use, simple to deploy and will be a key enabling technology for next generation Intelligent Systems as required for vertical markets such as: smart cities, mobile health, smart grid automation, gaming, home automation and entertainment."
