Logitech International introduces new iPad keyboard for classrooms

Jun 14, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Logitech International SA, a provider of personal computer accessories, has introduced the Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad, an iPad keyboard designed for the classroom environment.

Designed for hassle-free plug-and-play connectivity, the Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad has an integrated Lightning Connector or 30-pin Connector depending on the use of iPad model.

According to the company, the new Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad brings Logitech's knowledge and experience in keyboards to the classroom. It features a lifespan of more than five million keystrokes, a spill-resistant, low-profile, and full-size keys. It also features shortcut keys that enable easy access to iPad functions, such as copy and paste, Siri and App switching.

"Schools are increasingly purchasing iPads for use in the classroom," said Mike Culver, vice president and general manager of mobility at Logitech. "While tablets are enabling new ways of teaching and testing, there's a challenge when a teacher needs to simultaneously pair multiple iPads with multiple wireless Bluetooth keyboards. We developed the Logitech Wired Keyboard for iPad to specifically solve this problem, so students can now simply plug it in and start typing." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
