BlogHer Achieves Strong Campaign Uplift through Enhanced Audience Targeting Optimization from Maxifier

New York – April 16 – Maxifier, the global leader in programmatic premium optimization, today announced strong campaign uplift results for BlogHer Inc., the largest cross-platform media network and publisher for women. These performance improvements come as a result of the most recent release of Maxifier’s ADMAX platform, which now incorporates greater audience targeting optimization capabilities. With key value and keyword targeting being an important component for many publishers, the latest version of ADMAX helps publishers like BlogHer optimize their audience segments to deliver to the campaign objectives of their advertisers.

BlogHer, which reaches 55 million U.S. women each month (source: Nielsen), is employing more than 500 key words across its site, and keyword targeting plays a critical role for them. Using ADMAX to identify and automatically remove poorly-performing keywords from its targeting parameters, BlogHer has experienced a significant improvement to campaign performance.

“In our first full month of using Maxifier’s enhanced automated keyword optimization, we were able to optimize 106 campaigns, apply more than 1,200 keyword optimization recommendations and deliver an average uplift in click-through-rate (CTR) of 22.7 percent across the campaigns,” commented David Rowley, VP ad operations at BlogHer. “We were thrilled to see some CTRs achieving performance improvements of more than 110 percent. One premium publisher in the U.K. that was seeking to drive enhanced key value audience targeting has experienced an average CTR uplift of more than 50 percent across campaigns by using the platform-driven recommendations to improve targeting through the removal of underperforming audiences.
