Finland,United States : SFR chooses NOKIA SIEMENS as radio supplier for 4G / LTE network execution [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Nokia Siemens declared that it has secured a contract as radio supplier from SFR for the execution of the latter's 4G / LTE network and upgrade GSM and 3G networks in major French cities. SFR with Nokia Siemens Networks Liquid Radio technology will be able to meet its capacity requirements and will offer better 4G customer experience. Nokia Siemens is supporting SFR with the launch of its 4G service with networks in Paris and Paris La Defense European business district. As per the contract, Nokia Siemens will deliver its Liquid Radio solution built on the Single Radio Access Network (RAN) platform with Flexi Multiradio 10 Base Station, allowing data transfer speeds of up to 100 Mbps. It will also implement networks automation solution, Self-Organizing Networks (SON) for RAN. The contract also comprise Nokia Siemens Networks NetActnetwork management system and a suite of associated software tools for consolidated configuration, monitoring, and network optimization across technologies.
