BRIEF: CFPUA employees allowed back in building after suspicious package reported


Jan 24, 2013 (Star-News - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The contents in a box at the the Cape Fear Public Utility office were harmless. Police wouldn't comment on what was in the box. CFPUA employees were being allowed back into the office at 10 a.m.



Wilmington Police were called after an employee at CFPUA reported a suspicious package about 8 a.m.

CFPUA Spokesman Mike McGill said the CFPUA office was evacuated, as was the office of Infranet, a privately owned internet technology company, which occupies a third of the building.
