DRS Technologies To Share In Joint Warfighter Advanced Communications Work


ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- DRS Technologies, a Finmeccanica Company, announced today that its Technical Services business unit is one of the awardees for a five-year, performance-based, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $10 billion ceiling for the complete scope of tactical command, control and communications (C3T) systems, equipment, services and data.

Users will be able to quickly acquire a wide range of C3T support, including hardware, software, engineering, and logistics in response to rapidly changing warfighter communication needs. DRS has assembled more than 60 teammates to cover the full depth and breadth of the effort's scope.
