Georgia Chapter-PRSA Luncheon Meeting And Pre-Luncheon Seminar On January 10 To Host Scott Allison Of Allison+Partners

ATLANTA, Jan. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- The January events of Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (www.prsageorgia.org) include the Chapter's monthly luncheon with Scott Allison of Allison+Partners and a pre-luncheon seminar on responding to market challenges.

(Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20120223/CL58658LOGO ) The monthly luncheon, "Creativity, Collaboration & Culture: How Three Words Should Shape Your Communications in 2013" will feature Allison, CEO of the San Francisco-based agency.

He will lead a discussion from some of today's top marketers of companies such as IBM, Burt's Bees and Zappos, to inspire you to rethink the way you communicate in 2013. The conversation will cover: -- How "creative destruction" - the ability to tear down and begin anew - can drastically change the way brands communicate with consumers, employees and shareholders -- Case study examples from brands that shifted from only driving awareness to driving engagement through highly interactive, relevant and engaging experiences -- What you could be doing differently to embrace the new landscape where consumers engage with brands on emotional and social levels Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon will be from noon to 1 p.m. Details and registration: http://bit.ly/VLmPI4.

The first PRSA|GA seminar for 2013 will be held prior to the lunch, "Are you in the communications driver's seat or asleep at the wheel Let creativity fuel your success in 2013," and led by Allison.

Today, creativity is a key driver of innovation yet industry dialogue is questioning whether PR practitioners are on idea auto-pilot. Communications is no longer just for awareness - powerful communications, and the social media that drive it, should be critical components of all business models to create experiences consumers now demand.

According to senior business leaders from a recent PR Week/Allison+Partners study, creativity is a key component to advancing business in the year ahead. But how do PR practitioners hit turbo-charge on their creativity and start 2013 in pole position Allison will show you: -- How to create results-oriented, fresh solutions that respond to market challenges -- Why brands can no longer just provide winning products or services, but must give consumers winning experiences -- How to better develop innovative content to harness the power of communication, take creative risks and enhance engagement success Registration for the seminar begins at 9:15 a.m. and the seminar will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Details and registration: http://bit.ly/12h0thv.
