Stroll Gets Gold in Best in Biz Awards


Dec 04, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Stroll, a next generation education e-commerce platform company and marketer of Pimsleur Approach language learning programs, announced that it was named a gold winner in the Best in Biz Awards Fastest-Growing Company of the Year category.



Selected by industry analysts and members of the press, Stroll's explosive hiring and revenue growth stood out among more than 400 entries.

According to a release, Founder and CEO Dan Roitman started Stroll in his University of Maryland dorm room in 2000, and the company has been on a hypergrowth trajectory ever since. In 2011, Stroll saw its best year yet. Revenue grew 105 percent and hiring nearly doubled with the addition of 80 new professionals. Since its inception, the company has successfully elevated sales of its flagship product, Pimsleur Approach, to become positioned in audio-based language learning.
