Amazon Web Services Certified to Run SAP Business Suite for Production Applications


SEATTLE --(Business Wire)--

Amazon Web Services (News - Alert), Inc. (AWS), an Amazon.com company (NASDAQ:AMZN), today announced that SAP Business Suite software is now certified by SAP to run in production on the AWS Cloud. These products include the SAP (News - Alert) Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP), SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM), SAP Product Lifecycle Management (SAP PLM), SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM) and SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) applications. Enterprises running SAP Business Suite can now leverage the on-demand, pay-as-you-go AWS platform to support thousands of concurrent users in production without making costly capital expenditures for their underlying infrastructure. SAP Business Suite certified for use on AWS follows the announcement made last month that the SAP HANA One platform is certified for production use on AWS and available on AWS Marketplace.
