Turkey Donation Helps Families in Central Wisconsin(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) (PRWEB) November 15, 2012 Element Mobile has continued its tradition of donating turkeys to local food pantries and shelters to help families in need during the holiday season this year. Element Mobile employees and Opportunity Development Center spent Monday, Nov. 12 distributing turkeys to local organizations including: Family Crisis Center and Cap Services in Wisconsin Rapids, Waupaca Food Pantry, Family Crisis Center and Crisis Assistance (Operation Bootstrap) in Stevens Point, and St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry and Youth Net in Marshfield. Janet Ostrum, executive director at the Hope’s Door in Wisconsin Rapids, thanked Element Mobile for their generous donation. “The turkeys donated by Element Mobile will be given to families of four or more,” said Ostrum. “Because of the donation about 150 families from our program will be able to share a meal this Thanksgiving without having to use their Quest Cards or food stamps.” Element Mobile has donated turkeys to Central Wisconsin food pantries since 2010. Each year the number of turkeys has increased to benefit those who are not able to afford turkey for Thanksgiving.
