KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia (TM) announced it has signed a cooperation agreement with the Technopreneurs Association of Malaysia (TeAM) and its ICT unit VADS for its BizApp Store, Bernama news agency reported. TM’s BizApp store is a self-service web portal for business customers and under the agreement, TeAM members can now market and sell their apps through the store. Meanwhile VADS will support the store with a cloud platform. The government hopes the new boosting in telecom services in the country will help spur growth in all aspects of telecom, including the Internet and mobile services. It comes as Malaysian penetration in the mobile sector continues to rise and more and more Malaysians are using smartphones and this new service will add options to users.
