PrismTech Joins Forces with Space Coast Communication Systems to Provide a Multi-Channel Platform for Development and Test of SCA WaveformsNov 07, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- PrismTech, a company focusing on standards-based, performance-critical middleware, and Space Coast Communication Systems, a company focusing on Software Defined Radio-based RF Test Equipment, announced a technology partnership to offer Spectra on the SCA Open Architecture Radio (SOAR). According to a release, the SOAR product builds off the same multi-channel software radio infrastructure that Space Coast uses in the line of eXplorer Satellite Simulators. In its current offering SOAR is available in 2, 4 or 8 channel configurations. "Traditional SDR architecture is stuck in this single board, single channel, single user mentality.
