LCC Names Doreen Trant as SVP of Business DevelopmentAug 20, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- LCC International Inc. (LCC), a provider of wireless, wire-line voice and data turn-key services, announced that Doreen Trant has joined LCC Americas as Senior Vice President responsible for New Business Development. According to a release, in this role, Trant will be responsible for continuing the company's expansion throughout North and South America with a concentration on new wireless/wireline services, smart grid/energy and oil and gas initiatives. In this executive role, Trant will manage LCC's business development team managing, developing and creating new relationships between the Company, key targeted customers and ecosystem partners. "Doreen comes to us with over 20 years of experience and contacts in the telecommunications sector and adds an exciting new dimension to our executive team as we continue to expand our services portfolio in the Americas," said David Porte, President of LCC Americas. "Doreen has the proactive customer-focused approach that LCC is known for and her innovative approach to services and markets will bring our products and services to a new group of clients." The company noted that most recently Trant held the positions of Sr. Vice President of Smart Grid Sales for Nokia Siemens Networks - North America and Sr. VP President of Global Services Sales North America for Nokia Siemens Networks. In addition to NSN, Trant has held various senior leadership positions with ALTAIR Communication Services, Ericsson, Nortel and Triton Network Systems focused on new business development, service delivery and customer management.
