"Our last event focused on how M2M-based innovations in the transportation industry help businesses streamline their operations and save money," said event co-chair Nikki Cuban. "In Miami we're taking things a step further to discuss how innovation is not just driven by verticals, but by platforms thatrapidly accelerate the pace and the efficiency of M2M deployments."

"In Miami, we're adding a stronger carrier presence to the show, and we're expanding the message from asset tracking, to healthcare, to energy and the smart grid - to showcase how M2M is being adopted across multiple vertical markets," said conference co-chair James Brehm. "There are more similarities than differences in how these industry participants utilize the technology, and common unifying threads, such as the platform and the cloud, will be showcased."
