Citel Signs Agreement with e-nteractiva for the Sales and Marketing of its Flagship Product the Portico TVA in Latin America

AMHERST. NY September 29, 2011 Citel Technologies, Inc., is pleased to announce the signing of an Authorized Reseller Agreement with e-nteractiva of Lima, Peru for the sales and marketing of its VoIP migration device in South America. Although Citel has been selling in the South American market for a number of years, it quickly became a realization that a local partner was needed to ensure both strong pre- and post-sales support for the Portico TVA. Having been contacted by e-nteractiva about mutual opportunities for the Portico TVA in their marketplace and having seen how the digital and P-phone media gateway complemented their existing business offerings, Citel moved forward with a formal agreement.

The Portico TVA offers companies the ability to migrate their customers to VoIP without the unnecessary burden of ripping and replacing existing cabling infrastructure, purchasing new IP phones and installing Power over Ethernet switches. Customers can retain their existing digital, analog and Centrex phones without removing the existing switches by SIP enabling those phones through the use of the Portico TVA. This is a quick and cost effective means of VoIP migration.

Franco Paolo Carranza, e-nteractiva’s CEO, stated that his company is a Value Added Distributor with a very strong commitment to the Latin American market, designing and deploying business solutions that generate results with real ROI for their customers. It is their mission to build a group of companies across the region capable of delivering these new technologies to businesses. Mr. Carranza believes that the Portico TVA will help maximize both their cloud-based and premise-based VoIP offerings, especially where the cost of migration is a key consideration. As a result, e-nteractiva will have more ways to increase the value of their service offerings, allowing them to further differentiate themselves from competitors.

Ian Gomm, VP, Sales & Marketing, was very impressed with e-nteractiva’s business direction and sales of growth and recommended that e-nteractiva be offered exclusivity in Peru, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia and Colombia. During these negotiations, specific terms were imposed on e-nteractiva to maintain this exclusivity thereby ensuring customers In Latin America had just one company to deal with as they migrated their customers to VoIP. Mr. Gomm stated that it will work closely with e-nteractiva to further develop these markets and help leverage the high level of market understanding already displayed by e-nteractiva. He anticipates a long and mutually beneficial relationship between Citel and e-nteractiva.
