Conviva Co-Founder Zhang to Deliver Opening Keynote Speech at International Technology Research Event


SAN JOSE, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

Internet video technology pioneer Dr. Hui Zhang, co-founder and chief scientist of Conviva Inc., will deliver a thought-provoking keynote speech at the ACM/IEEE International Workshop on Quality of Service (QoS) on Monday, June 6th.

In his speech, Internet Video: The 2011 Perspective, Zhang will discuss the key technology trends that drive the growth of Internet video and the remaining challenges to its evolution with an assembled audience of leading academic and industry researchers. Zhang is also a professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and an ACM fellow.



Zhang went on to co-found the video streaming solutions provider Conviva Inc. of San Mateo, Calif., to which he brings 20 years of pioneering research experience.
