CompanionLink Offers Business Business-Class Solution for Verizon iPhone

Feb 08, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- CompanionLink Software announced the release of PC sync software for the Verizon iPhone.

According to CompanionLink, the sync works in tandem with a business-focused iPhone app called DejaOffice. The software transfers data from PC and web-based databases to the new Verizon iPhone. Direct sync of calendar, contacts, tasks, notes and color-coded categories is supported for productivity and CRM suites like IBM Lotus Notes, Sage ACT!, Palm Desktop, Novell GroupWise, Salesforce CRM, and HighRise. CompanionLink also synchronizes with Microsoft Outlook add-ins like Franklin Covey PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook, Getting Things Done, Take Back Your Life, Respond, Avidian Prophet, and Outlook Business Contact Manager.

DejaOffice is an iPhone app that adds business-class Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Memos, Category Management, and Expense functionality to the iPhone. It includes business features such as task priorities, status, start and due dates, and location. Five different tasks styles are supported - GTD, Franklin Covey, TBYL, Microsoft Outlook, and Palm Desktop. DejaOffice manages categories on the iPhone for contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes. The app also links contacts to any calendar event, allowing users to see who the activity is with and manage functions like email, SMS and direction mapping with one tap.
