Network Launches Case Management 2.0

May 31, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- The Network, a provider of governance, risk and compliance solutions, announced the release of Case Management 2.0, an on-demand incident management software solution.

According to a release, Case Management 2.0 serves as a central repository to manage all GRC-related incidents, including compliance and ethics, fraud, loss, information risk and security. The Network developed Case Management 2.0 to create a system that manages all incidents and investigations; provides a collaborative platform; and uniformly identifies potential risks across all departments over time.

"The speed and accuracy of investigating issues and closing investigations can have a huge financial impact on organizations," said Luis Ramos, chief executive officer of The Network. "All organizations, whether public or private, benefit from risk detection and deterrence by having robust reporting mechanisms in place while facilitating expedited management of all types of incidents across the enterprise." Case Management 2.0 is a scalable SaaS solution that provides organizations with collaboration and security features.

According to a recent report by the Open Compliance and Ethics Group, 97 percent of respondents believe that GRC technology either has some or significant potential to alert management of problems before they become a crisis.

"The definition of risk has changed in recent years," said Ramos. "In an economic recovery, the 'near misses' need to be more closely examined to identify potential risks and spot trends through a holistic case management solution." ((Comments on this story may be sent to [email protected]))
