'Wirral University picks Aruba's wireless mobile applications'

(DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in northwest
England has deployed Aruba's wireless systems at its Arrowe Park and
Clatterbridge Hospitals. The Trust provides acute healthcare services
to more than 400,000 patients annually, and needed a secure wireless
system to enhance staff productivity, track patient data and ensure
compliance to working time directives. Aruba's Adaptive Radio
Management technology lowers Wi-Fi deployment and maintenance costs by
automating site surveys and using infrastructure-based controls to
optimise the performance of Wi-Fi clients. The Aruba wireless network

supports 2,500 healthcare professionals who now have secure access to
electronic patient records and picture archiving communications systems.
