Broadvox to Speak at Ingate 'SIP Trunking: Everything You Need to Know' Seminars at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo West 2008

TMCnet News

Dallas, TX — August 29, 2009 — Broadvox announces today that David Byrd will be presenting at the “SIP Trunking: Everything You Need to Know” seminars at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo West 2008. Sponsored by Ingate® Systems with Avaya and TMC, these educational seminars bring together leading IP-PBX (News - Alert) vendors, SIP trunking service providers and industry thought leaders to provide a comprehensive overview of SIP trunking with key issues faced by enterprises and VARs today.

The seminars are free for all ITEXPO (News - Alert) attendees.

Mr. Byrd will present a session titled, “SMB VoIP Options” during the SIP Trunking seminar series on Thursday, September 18, 3008 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.

“Small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) approach their business decisions differently than large enterprises, basing their decisions more on cost issues than features and technology. In the long run, the most successful companies are those who incorporate all three factors into their solution,” said David Byrd, VP of Marketing and Sales at Broadvox (News - Alert). “VoIP enabled SIP Trunking has been in use now for several years and this gives SMBs the assurance that it is stable, secure and here to stay, thus addressing any concerns they may have about reliability or longevity.”

Educational Sessions on SIP Trunking

The seminars will feature general information panels and technical insight sessions from both the service provider and enterprise perspectives.  Live demonstrations, during which participants will set up a secure SIP trunk in 20 minutes or less, will also take place on-site.  Attendees can earn a SIP Trunking Professional Certificate by participating in the Professional Development Program on the first day of the Show.

New tracks will delve into issues critical for successful deployments, including VoIP security and simplifying enterprise deployments.  There will also be a SIP Trunk “Boot Camp.”

In addition, a SIPconnect Compliance Workshop, presented by the SIP Forum (News - Alert), will provide an overview of SIPconnect and its value proposition, a step-by-step overview of the SIPconnect Compliant Program application process and lessons learned from actual SIPconnect deployments.

“Ingate is proud that Broadvox will participate in the SIP Trunk Seminars,” said Steven Johnson (News - Alert), president, Ingate Systems.  “They are a true innovator in SIP and SIP trunking.  David Byrd’s insights will provide an important perspective to the session.”
